RainStar University Found Jody RussellRainStar University of Complementary and Alternative Medicine was founded out of a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
The Rainstar University(Scottsdale) was founded upon the vision of making higher education more available, even if you’re a professional with a full time commitment to work and family.
Developed by faculty who are practitioners in their field, our curriculum integrates academic theory, lifelong learning and professional practice – and is designed to support the needs of adult learners. We strive to help students develop relevant skills that can be easily applied to their current work and life experiences.
We have a passion for our vision of bringing the benefits of alternative medicine to public awareness. Since 1917, RainStar University has been providing high quality education and training. Our graduates enjoy successful and rewarding careers as health care practitioners in the fields of Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, and Therapeutic Massage.
As modern society rediscovers the benefits of ancient therapies like massage, acupuncture and Oriental medicine, people are increasingly seeking complementary modalities for relief from stress, physical pain and dysfunction. Today’s research validates that these modalities are viable and effective means in benefiting physical and mental health. In today’s stressful environment, the health of people of all ages and occupations is enhanced by a holistic approach to medicine.
